Description: With over 5,000 small airports in almost every locality across the country, a small aircraft transportation system (SATS) may provide a safe and affordable alternative to current transportation systems. SATS will allow small aircraft to be as easy to operate as a car and will relieve our nation's overburdened major airports. This two-seat, handicapped-accessible interactive cockpit demonstrator allows visitors to see what it is like to fly a plane, even in bad weather. X-plane game incorporates NASA's weather-in-the-cockpit technology.
